Gayà presents the armband in support of the fight against breast cancer
"For them, for everyone, Amunt Valencia CF! This is how José Luis Gayà, Valencia CF captain, presented today the special armband that he will wear during the next two LaLiga EA Sports matches in support of World Breast Cancer Day and to raise awareness of this disease, which in Spain has an incidence of 132 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and represents 30 percent of cancers diagnosed among women.

The armband will be used in the two LaLiga EA Sports matches that Valencia CF will play in October: against Cadiz CF, (next Monday at Mestalla) and against Athletic Club. It will then be auctioned through the sports memorabilia auction platform MatchWornShirt. The funds raised will be donated to Dragon Boat Marina Valencia, a dragon boat team (a form of canoeing) made up of female cancer survivors.
